COVID Policies

As of September 19, 2022

The well-being and safety of all attendees are a top priority. While things may change as we come closer to the event’s dates, please take note of the following current standards:

Engel & Völkers Americas Policies

Engel & Völkers Americas will comply with all local and venue-associated COVID-19 mandates and protocols. Additional mandates not required by the state of Florida, the city of Miami Beach, Miami-Dade County, and Fontainebleau Miami Beach will not be implemented for EVX 2023. Please make sure to stay informed of all applicable requirements before registering. By registering for this event, attendees agree to adhere to all such mandates and policies. Refunds will not apply. In the event that Engel & Völkers Americas is forced to cancel EVX 2023 due to COVID-19-associated safety concerns, your registration will be transferred to EVX 2024. Our dedicated team (americas.events@evrealestate.com) will assist you with such transfers. Any other transfers of registrations are your responsibility.

Fontainebleau Policies

Mask Guidelines: By not wearing a mask, you are verifying that you have been fully vaccinated. If you have not been fully vaccinated, Fontainebleau Miami Beach requires you to please wear a mask for everybody’s protection.

On-Call Doctor Request: AM-to-PM DOC on Property: To address medical needs immediately, Fontainebleau guests have the option to use SKYDOC, a telemedicine service, 24 hours a day to communicate via their computer and cell phone, or schedule a doctor visit in the comfort of their hotel room.

Bleau Clean: The safety and security of Fontainebleau’s guests, visitors, and team members remain the highest priority at Fontainebleau. Fontainebleau Miami Beach has developed Bleau Clean, a comprehensive, multi-point health & safety program with:

  • Public restrooms are equipped with touch-free devices, including sink, soap, and paper towel dispensers

  • Touch-less hand sanitizer dispensers are located throughout the hotel

  • Thorough employee training and reinforcement of personal hygiene on proper handwashing and use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers. Personal Protective Equipment for Team Members, including masks and gloves, are provided as needed.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s website is updated with their current health guidelines and can be referenced here.

Miami-Dade County Policies

In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Miami Beach, the County of Miami-Dade is adopting its BEST Plan, which is consistent with the updated recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Biden Administration’s National COVID-19 Preparedness Plan.
